A stronger civil society
Civil society is part of the foundations of our society. It covers everything communities do together outside private business and the public sector. But it's been decimated by the Conservative Government.
Without a thriving civil society, democracy can’t work. It is the glue that binds communities together, part of the fabric of society, and includes community-owned institutions that help give voice to the voiceless, power to the powerless, and allows communities to take control of the decisions that affect them.
The Labour Civil Society Network offers a space for Labour supporters working or volunteering in civil society to come together with Labour's front-bench team in Parliament to discuss new ideas, develop Labour policy, and help the sector grow stronger.
